‘Thewlis Rox’ is organizing another fan project for David entitled “Dedicated to David”. Tannim & I have been working for months to prepare this project & we are extremely excited about it!

We wanted to come up with a gift for both David & his fans to enjoy – it’s a tribute film on DVD that will contain very brief clips from all of David’s films & will also include nearly all of his video & audio interviews. Additionally, fans can contribute to the content of the DVD by making their own dedicational videos for David.

The DVD will feature rare film footage from David’s performances that have been sent to us exclusively by filmmakers & producers who are eager to share this footage with David Thewlis fans.

This project will not only be given to David, but boxes of DVDs will be sent to his agent in both the UK & the US for anyone curious about David & his work & the DVDs will be available to fans for FREE through ‘Thewlis Rox’. Once the project is completed, Tannim & I will take requests for DVDs & send them out as soon as the project is complete. A deadline for content submission is yet to be announced.

Congratulations to David on receiving the Richard Harris Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Actor at the '2008 British Independent Film Awards'.

Vera Farmiga, David's co-star in The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, was awarded Best Performance by an Actress in a British Independent Film.
