(( Mmm, could be a good idea .. Though there's a Slytherin 3rd year, right? And they have DADA with the Gryffindors? I don't mind changing it's just if my changing character meant they had to change. I can stick with Neville for now, I'm not sure if I'll be able to post much anyway so it could be a good thing. ))

Neville had just finished his toast and was gulping a glass of orange juice when he felt a slap on the back. He spluttered and swallowed before turning. Seamus and Dean had just arrived down from the dorms. Dean was already helping himself to some bread and bacon, Seamus was next to him with a wide grin.

" G'morning " Neville muttered as he cleaned up the orange that had been spilt with a frown. Barely into the day and already he'd managed to get juice on his uniform. With a sigh he dropped the sopping tissue onto his plate and watched it vanish before picking up another piece of toast.

Leana entered the Commonroom a few minutes later. Her fellow students were awake now, and starting to get ready for breakfast. Leana went upstairs to get her bag. The girls of her year where still there, getting dressed.

'You're up early!' said the girl that slept in the bed next to Leana's.
'I woke up early' she said 'Because of your cat' she said and nodded at another girl.
'Oh I'm so sorry!' she said. 'he must have jumped of my bed!'
'Doesn't matter' Leana muttered and began to pack her bag.

'Alice, what did you say about Cedric?'
Leana looked up and saw how Alice, the one who slept next to Leana, turn read'
'Well... he asked me whether he could borrow my quill yesterday in the library' she said. 'And when he gave it back, he winked at me.

All the girls shrieked with laughter.
'He likes you! I'm sure of it!' Naomi, another girl said
'I don't know!' Alice said. 'He won't! I'm an ugly tart!'
Leana wanted to laugh, but thought it was best not too.

'Well' Naomi said 'Let's go and see him later!'
'No!' Alice said. 'Don't! I don't want him to know!'
'Well he must if you ever want to go out with him! Ask him out to go to Hogsmade! That is what Nigel did when he asked me' Naomi said and looked proudly.

Leana got up at once, her bag over her shoulder and went over the door to leave the door.
'Leana' Naomi suddenly said. 'How's your lovelife?'
Leana looked at her for a moment.
'There isn't any' she muttered.
'Why not?' Alice said. 'You're a nice girl'
Leana shrugged
I suppose not nice enough....

And without saying a word, she left the Dormitory.
Icon says: 'Look, Benedict. That one over there is Viccy. Marry her. Now. I'll be your best man and godfather to your babies.'

Wishful thinking.

Aveck

The day began when Aveck had ascended from the Slytherin Common Room to the Great Hall for breakfast. Of course, it wasn't quite hard to notice that despite the crowd of his fellow House flanking him - all of which were his year, of course - that he would've been one of those every other Slytherin would follow.

Aveck, much like Draco Malfoy, came from a line of pureblood families who usually married between other purebloods. This was to say that Aveck and Draco were somewhat related, one way or another.

Now in his 3rd year at Hogwarts, Aveck had yet to embrace the calling of his parents to become a Death Eater, which, for him, seemed to be a waste of time to think about at the moment. He'd have to think about it when the time came.

He seated himself at the Slytherin Table alongside a few random Slytherins, starting some conversation before immersing himself in some food. Aveck didn't really enjoy long conversations unless the situation called for it.

What was different with Aveck was that he did not show much disgust towards the other students from Gryffindor, Ravenclaw of Hufflepuff. In fact, he was on good terms with them, which got quite a few Slytherins questioning where his loyalties truly lie. Aveck's usual response would be that he would always be a Slytherin as his parents were before him, and he was not going to break tradition. Adding to that, his entire personality of being a slight perfectionist and deeming himself above everybody else was another trait only a true Slytherin would hope to possess.

Breakfast now, was just another usual routine that needed to be dealt with. Food is essential, after all.

Aurora Sinistra

Aurora came down from her chambers in the Astronomy Tower to grab a bite of breakfast. She usually wasn't one to eat breakfast with the general student body, she usually slept rather late and kept odd hours due to her occupation and own personal preferences. Professor Sinistra was proud to admit she was a night owl, and liked to play up the rumours of her possible vampirism.

The Astronomy Professor was too tanned however to be undead, her Hispanic complexion showing her lineage. When she spoke, however, it was apparent she was born and raised in the heart of Wales.

As she sat down at the Head Table, her honey brown eyes scanned the table. A few other Professors had come down for their meals, and gave her a surprised but pleased greeting. Aurora grabbed herself a slice of toast and began pouring herself a cup of tea, smiling a little as she studied everyone around her.

Remus Lupin

Remus stifled a yawn as he entered the Great Hall, making his way up towards the Staff table. He wasn't looking forward to yet another meal spent sitting next to Severus Snape. But upon seeing the numerous empty seats, a mischievious glint appeared in Remus' eyes.

Dropping down onto the chair next to Professor Sinistra, he smiled shyly and asked, "Mind if I join you? I don't think I'm quite up to listening to Severus' snide remarks quite so early in the morning."

Neville Longbottom

Neville turned his head to the house table as Professor Lupin walked down the table to stand next to Professor Sinistra. He smiled a little before grabbing another piece of toast and turning to talk to Seamus, who was chatting loudly to Dean from across the table. They were discussing the pros and cons of Football and Quidditch. Neville didn't feel the need to join in. He simply sat and listened as he munched on his toast.

Aurora Sinistra

Aurora glanced over at Remus, and grinned. She pushed the pot of earl gret tea over for him and chuckled. She leaned in closer to him, and lowered her voice to murmur, "I wouldn't be up to listening to him at any point in the day, not just early in the morning..." she paused, then giggled a little more with a wink.

Iris decided to treat herself, and grabbed a couple sausages. She looked back at Remus and motioned to the platters, "Anything strike your fancy?" she asked kindly, leaning over again just a touch, "or is the appetite not back yet?"

Ahote

Ahote finished his essay and sighed as he realized he still had quite some time before class started. He packed up his bag and started to make his way up to the Common Room when his least favorite group of Slytherins approached him. It was Marcus Flint and his group, a guy who should have already graduated but hadn't and yet still felt he had the right to bully Ahote. He didn't know how the group had found out about the American stereotypes of Native Americans, but they had and the group greeted him with their regular, annoying greeting, "How chief."

He tried to just roll his eye and walk past but Marcus pushed him into a nearby wall. He was taller than the older boy but he wasn't a violent person, his mother and grandmother hadn't raised him to be that way. "Leave me alone Marcus."

"Now why would we do that?" He shoved Ahote again and only seemed to get angrier when Ahote refused to respond. He looked at his buddies and got an evil grin on his face that Ahote didn't like one bit. He tried to run but Marcus tripped him and he went crashing into the stone floor with a loud crunch. It felt like he had broken his wrist and he had hit his head so hard he was dizzy but he was still clear headed enough to hear Marcus curse before the group of Slytherins ran away to try avoid trouble.

Remus Lupin

"Ahh... the charm of Severus Snape," he joked. "Everyone's just lining up to have a chat with him."

Remus poured a mug of tea for himself, added a spoonful of honey, and a touch of lemon. He picked up a couple of pieces of toast and set them on his plate, then added a rasher of bacon and a small scoop of eggs.

"It's slowly coming back. I'm not much of a breakfast eater though." He spread a thin layer of butter on his toast and smiled. "But thank you for asking. What about you? I don't normally see you down here until lunch or dinner."

Aurora Sinistra

"I actually got some sleep, and woke up to see the sunrise. I forgot the sun did that," Aurora said with a small smirk, "I tried to go back to sleep, but I just ended up tossing and turning until I choked myself with my sheets. I decided to grace the Great Hall with my early morning presence, as I am am ever so radiant," she joked, motioning to her rather casual attire of a white blouse, black dress slacks, and a plain dark blue teaching robes thrown over both. She had managed to brush her hair, but had done little else with it.

Aurora eyed the eggs on Remus' plate, then reached over and got a few for herself, "Already got sausage, bugger the diet," she murmured to herself, going for the basket of muffins as well. She ate a bite of her toast, then added a scoop of sugar to her tea. She glanced back over at the DADA Professor and asked, "So how is this new teaching job suiting you then? Having any problems..?" she paused, and lowered her tone, "of any sort?"

Ahote

Ahote stayed still for a few minutes and then struggled to his feet. He reached up with his uninjured arm and felt that there was blood running down his forehead. He took a few calming breaths and started towards the hospital wing. He already knew he wouldn't be reporting Marcus for what he had done because it would only make things worse for him. Marcus and his gang would be gone at the end of the year and the next upstart, Draco Malfoy, was younger and much smaller than he was.

The more he walked the dizzier he got. He leaned against a wall near the Great Hall and took a few more deep breaths to try to steady himself. He didn't want anyone to notice him, he just wanted to get his wounds taken care of so he could go to class and get through another day.

Remus Lupin

"Radiant?" Remus chuckled and sipped his tea.

"Seeing as how you're not nomally a morning person, I suppose for today you can be radiant," he teased. "Although, I could think of a few other words to describe you. And you don't need to diet. You're lovely just the way you are."

He paused to eat a few bites of his breakfast before answering her question. "My classes are going well. Unfortunately, some of the students are really far behind when it comes to the material. And having Lockhart last year as their Professor didn't help. But no, no real problems. A few the other Slytherins tried to get the better of me, but they were quickly sorted out."

Aurora Sinistra

"You can think of a few other words to describe me?" Aurora said with an arch of one eyebrow, "I know I'm not a morning person, but I don't look that bad, do I? What were you going to call me? Mildly presentable?" She snorted and poked at one of her sausages, "and I do too need to diet. You have no idea the amount of sugar I consume. I think the only reasons I manage to stay fit is because of the amount of stairs I have to climb atleast twice a day just to get to my bloody classroom. You have it easy, I'm sure your metabolism is crazy due to-" Aurora immediately cut herself off, blushed, and cleared her throat, "well, numerous reasons."

She then cringed as Remus mentioned Lockheart's name. She allowed herself to visibley shudder, and her eyes glanced up momentarily to notice a boy leaning agaisnt the far wall. He looked to be in pain, but from such a distance, she couldn't tell. She frowned, then looked back to Remus, "Lockheart was a walking disaster, and he managed to get by purely on his bravado. He was a horrible flirt, and a vain, pompous ass." She sighed and stabbed a sausage with a bit of force, "I have no doubts you're picking up the pieces from his past year here... it's nice to finally have a competant Professor teaching Defense!"

Remus Lupin

"Due to my lycanthropy," he said, completing her earlier thought. "It's quite alright... the entire Staff knows about my condition. You're right about Lockhart though... the man is a fraud."

Remus munched on a piece of bacon, then smiled and rubbed a finger across his chin. "I'd wager you must go through at least a box every couple of days of those powdered donuts you fancy. But either way, I still say you don't need to diet. And I promise I was only going to use nice words to describe you."[/i]

Aurora Sinistra

Iris raised both her eyebrows this time, "Now how could you possibley know that I eat powdered donuts, and a box worth every few days at that?!" He gave him a very curious stare and leaned over, her sausage still speared on her fork, "is there powder on my face?"
