RPG: the Abandoned Werewolf

Remus was happy, really happy for the first time in quite some time. He had a great day with his two loyal friends and joined in their laughter now. When he calmed down he said, "Ephram, leave us alone about it or I'll insist on cooking."



Ephram got a mock terrified look on his face and put his hands up in front of him, "Okay mate, no more teasing. I don't think any of us could handle your cooking." He ducked and ran into the kitchen laughing when Remus moved to smack him.

'That is no possibility!' Sirius hissed. 'Don't let him get near Harry! You two aren't hiding for nothing! Voldemort wants Harry, and you mustn't let anyone you don't trust near him!'
Sirius took a step closer to his best friend 'And you musn't trust Remus anymore'

David looked back at the news papers, but that was nothing intresting in it. he felt hopeless. He could only sit here, and do his work for the ministry. But David wanted to do more.But right now, he couldn't. Dumbledore would have to give him Orders.

David though back about the meeting he had had with Albus yesterday. Why did he wanted Evan to go to Hogwarts a year later. Why was that so important to the Potters? David wasn't really good friends with them... nothing that actually. They met occasionally, and sometimes, they let their children play. But that was all. They didn't invite him for supper, and nor did he invite them. Only Order meetings actually... and birthdays. That was all.

Lily Potter

Lily moved further into the living room, taking in what Sirius had to say before taking a step closer to her husband. "Sirius, why are you so persistent in believing that Remus has changed sides?" she asked him. "Yes, we've gone into hiding to protect Harry, I know. And as much as we hoped you'd be our Secret-Keeper I don't suppose you're planning on betraying your long-term friend just because of what he is, are you?"

James Potter

James looked over to Lily before turning to Sirius, frowning. "Werewolf or not, we accepted him in the first place back in school, didn't we? But then again... The point still stands..." He looks back over to his wife. "He hasn't been acting how he normally would... At the moment he's keeping his distance, which is indeed suspicious."

Sirius let out a faint sigh of relieve. At least James now agreed with him.
'His behaviour is stange enough to cause up suspicion' he said, looking from James to Lily. 'Especially in these times. It's war, Lily! And we all must watch our backs and who we can trust or not! And Remus can't be trusted anymore'
He looked at James for a confirmation

James Potter

I look over to Lily in slight hesitation before agreeing with Sirius with a nod of his head. "He's right."

Lily Potter

"I don't believe this... How could you turn your backs to him like that?" she reasoned.

ooc: tricia, we need to go to the next day, we are one day behind



Sirius rolled his eyes. Lily really didn't seem to understand it, did she!

'He left us' he said. 'He's not a friend anymore. He's joining the werewolf army, doesn't that say enough?' Sirius looked at James again. 'He didn't even visit you on your birthday last week' he said 'It seems he doesn't want tp be around here anymore.'

Sirius checked his watch.
'I think I'm off again' he said. 'I need to repair my motorbike next thing tomorrow'

David thought it would be best to ask Albus the next Order meeting. The next one would be tonight. He still had to tell Remus about that.
A quick note than...

He took out his wand, and thought of a happy moment.
Evan's first steps...

A white owl appeared and soared away through the window, with the message:

My house when you are available

Lily Potter

Lily waves her hands in resignation as she moves upstairs without a word to check up on Harry.

James Potter

"We'll see you to...morrow..." James said in reply to Sirius, trailing off as he watches his wife head off up the stairs.

((I'm Jordan, I promise))


Hadley finished up her giggle fit and beamed at the two men.

"Remus, come back here you silly wolf. Let Ephram whip up a masterpiece," she said playfully, standing up to take Remus's hand.

Remus chuckled and walked back over to Hadley. He grinned and was about to say something when a white owl appeared to tell him about the meeting. He sighed and rubbed his face. "Well I may have to skip dinner, there's a meeting I need to go to." His great day had quickly gone downhill. Order meetings meant he had to see all of his 'friends' and he wasn't really looking forward to it.



Ephram heard Remus' words and poked his head out of the kitchen. "You're not leaving without eating something. Let me make you a quick snack." When Remus rolled his eyes he said, "I won't let you leave without eating something, so just deal with it mate."

OOC: *giggle snort* Megan, I just noticed I made a typo in the banner of Ephram's name...



David got up and went for the kitchen. He made a pot of tea, so it would be ready when Remus would arrive. He than heard a wail coming from upstairs, so he took the kettle of the fire and went upstairs.

'Yes, yes, yes' He said as he took Evan out of his cradle. 'You're hungry, I know' the boy continued to cry, so he took him downstairs. He placed him in his seat and took out of the fridge a small jar of baby food. He took of the top and held it in his hands. WIth a none-verbal spell, his hands became warm and so did the food in the jar. He took a small spoon and began to feed Evan, who was silent at once as David offered him a spoon full of baby food

Hadley frowned at the news of Remus having to leave. She didn't like the idea of him having to face them, especially since they all but hated him right now. After insisting that Remus eat something, she followed the two men into the kitchen.

"You'll need your strength," she reminded him again.

Remus sighed and sat down at the table. "Alright, but make it quick. This meeting will only be worse if I'm late and give them an excuse to speculate about where I was." He watched as Ephram quickly made a few sandwiches and put one down in front of him. "Thanks Ephram." He ate his sandwich quickly and turned to Hadley, "I'm sorry I have to leave, you'll be alright here with Ephram while I'm gone?" He knew the two didn't know each other very well but he had to go to this meeting.



Ephram smiled, "We'll be fine mate. Just go to your meeting and get it over with. We'll be waiting for you when you get back. Just keep yourself safe and avoid anybody who would cause you troubles."

Hadley gave Remus a crooked grin and lightly touched his hand.

"We'll be fine, and Ephram's right, watch your for yourself; be safe." She leaned in and kissed his cheek, not caring if he was going to turn a brilliant shade of pink.

Her kiss mad Remus blush and he cleared his throat before he said, "I'll be back as soon as I can be and I'll be careful." He waved goodbye before he went to the fireplace and threw some floo powder in before he stepped in and appeared in the fireplace at David's house. He looked around but didn't see David anywhere and then he heard faint noises coming from the direction of the kitchen. He headed in that direction and found David feeding Evan and smiled. "I got your message and came as soon as I could. How's Evan doing?"



Ephram wasn't quite sure what to say to Hadley now that Remus was gone. He cleared the table and set the dishes to cleaning themselves in the sink before he said "So... is there anything you need to do?"

Hadley glanced at the self-washing dishes taking a mental note to learn more housekeeping spells. Whenever Flitwick had attempted to teach them back in school, Hadley wasn't interested.
"Well," she said, stalling, trying to come up with something she had to do. She liked Ephram and thought a lot of him, but she was under the impression that he almost wanted her to have something to do. But seeing how he wasn't in the least bit offensive and she was probably missreading him, she gave up.
"Actually I came here pretty well prepared; I don't have anything I have to do...but I could do anything you need me to. Like get groceries or something?"
