Hey All!

So I finally registered on the site and am saying "hello!"

I met Amanda at the extremely awesome David Heyman Q&A that the Apple store in Santa Monica hosted. Had a good time, got to talking about all things Potter (of course) and she told me about the site.

I'm a huge Potter nerd and I especially adore the marauders. While I love the movies, I am a bit disappointed with the lack of that story line, and in particular, the removal of certain scenes from OOTP - which I did mention in the Q&A. Amanda mentioned another interesting question - the role the adults will play in the final films. Even though David mentioned they won't have a very large role, I am hoping that Lupin & Tonks will receive the justice they deserved, but didn't receive in the books. That is one of my only major gripes with DH.

Anyways, a Lupin/Potter fan of course, but also a David fan (He totally "owns" Seven Years in Tibet! Brad Pitt, who?), as well as an Anna fan... don't even get me started on how upset I still am that Pushing Daisies was cancelled. The one solace I have is that perhaps now that Jim Dale is free, he can follow me around and narrate my life.

Imagine, Jim Dale narrating someones life would be epic! I love that idea .

We hit it off so well when we first met - that was awesome! We both love Harry Potter/David/Anna/Pushing Daisies and much more - I'm sure you'll have loads of topics you can participate in around here that we can all geek out over!

Can't wait until you meet the group at Disneyland - last year was fantastic, we all had such an incredible time!

As for Jim Dale... The man could read the phone book and still be enthralling! I've often joked to my friends that I need him to narrate my life. Whenever it's boring, his voice would make the most mundane tasks seem exciting. Just imagine the way he would dramatize for example, me cleaning the toilet! lol I consider it my version of whistle while you work or a spoon full of sugar. ;p And then there's the times that you're feeling depressed or angry/upset... how could you stay that way with Jim's uplifting voice surrounding you! ;p The idea of it just cracks me up. On a side note... my second choice would be James Earl Jones. That ought to tell you just how geeky I am.
