Recently there have been some issues between members on Social Networking sites (ie. Facebook, MySpace, etc).

Please be advised that what you do on those sites is between yourself and those members on your friends lists. The Admins of the David Thewlis Network are NOT responsible for anyone's behavior outside of this forum. Will will not take action against a forum member based on events/actions that happen on other websites or in person, unless it happens at an official David Thewlis Network sponsored event.

If you are having a problem with a forum member outside of this website, then block them or remove them from your friends list on that site. Please do not ask the Admins to intervene in your personal issues. We are not your parents and everyone here is adult enough to deal with their own personal issues in an appropriate manner. If you bring your issues to this site and it starts to affect things here, then we will take action against all parties involved.

Amanda and I will be deleting all posts regarding speculation/comments on David and Anna's relationship and members will be issued warnings. If you choose to comment about it on your Facebook, that's your business. But we won't tolerate or encourage that behavior here. Due to some hateful comments and emails that were posted or PMed to us after the various press sites posted stories, we have temporarily locked the Anna Friel Board on this website. So for the time being if you want to discuss Anna matters, please visit http://annafriel.org/. Please be advised that the webmaster there (Dave) will also not be tolerating negative behavior/comments on his site.

Please take a moment to reread and review the Forum Rules. Amanda and I have had to edit some comments due to vulgar and inappropriate language. We do have underage visitors/forum members and the rules state to keep everything PG or PG-13. Please think and review your comments before you post them. We are both very busy in real life and honestly don't have the time to sit and review every comment to make sure that people are being tasteful.

In addition to Tannim's statement, I would like to add that these issues have led to the several Site changes that have occurred throughout the year. Tannim will be arriving in Los Angeles next week to visit me for a few days, and we plan to heavily discuss permanent alterations in the operation of this website.

As many of you are clearly aware of, articles were released by the press mid-December of 2010 stating David and Anna had decided to part ways. Recently (two months later) I am still receiving an alarming amount of hate mail towards Anna Friel in my email inbox, I've had to constantly patrol the forums in my spare time to delete distasteful comments towards her, people are registering in the forums solely to try and raise topics against Anna, visitors are still leaving rude and vulgar comments on photos of David and Anna in the gallery, I've had ENOUGH.

It has been a nightmare for us to deal with all of this hateful behavior. Remember, to respect David's privacy at all times, that includes Anna Friel as well. None of you have any idea of what is occurring in their lives at the moment (and don't speculate or claim you do!) this is a personal matter between their family and it is nobody's business but theirs!

I am extremely disappointed that I have to monitor the Site 24/7 every day to make sure new registrants and members are leaving sly comments about this situation either on this discussion board or on the Site itself (in the public comments box) - it needs to STOP now, that is my final warning.

As Tannim has pointed out, if there are fans that want to discuss Anna or her career (appropriately!) we've altered the 'Anna Friel' board to link directly to her official discussion board because I can no longer baby sit and patrol the rude horrible comments left on ours. Anna's webmaster, Dave, I can ensure you, will not tolerate drama shifted over there - and many of you are forgetting that Anna's webmaster is a member of OUR Staff, please do not give him a difficult time.

A warning to fans AND the press, we are not officially affiliated with David or his representatives and we have no statement or information about the status of David and Anna's relationship. Stop constantly emailing me. Stop sending me messages on my Facebook. Stop texting or calling my personal cell phone during all hours of the night to discuss it! Although I have met David and Anna in-person several times, I do not personally know either of them or are involved in their affairs and I DO NOT have their personal contact information, nor will I pass along messages to either of them on your behalf.

This is the last I want to hear of all this, I'm done.

A statement from Anna's webmaster, Dave;

"Following on from Tannim's and Amanda's comments, I can only re-iterate that we are here to discuss David and/or Anna's career. Although many fans will have an interest in them which goes beyond this, it should remain an healthy and positive one.

Any discussion started on Anna's Official Board which negatively deals solely or partly with their personal relationships and life, will be deleted immediately and that member banned . Any attempt to rejoin under a different name will again be severely dealt with in the same fashion."

The beginning of March has arrived and both the message boards and site are now unlocked for members to post as usual. You all have your published confirmation now from Anna's representatives, so drop the topic once and for all.

I have my own life and personal responsibilities to be concerned about - I never want to see or hear about this topic being brought up again in the future.

Amanda & Jen are doing a great job here and this site is great place to meet Fans of David although I have not meet David yet & Im more a fan of Anna I will getting a few of David's films on DVD which one shall I start with so I can base see how good an actor David is..
