I LOVE the video Octavie!!!

I loved the excerpt from David where he was talking about his short story based on his experience filming The Island of Dr.Moreau - "And my agent said, 'David you have a very good imagination...' " *David makes a long pause* I was cracking up!!!

It was funny hearing you all giggling in the background  It really sounded like everyone had a fantastic time and I'm so happy for you!!!

*hug*

Thank you so much again, Octavie!!!

:D

A few updates on David’s novel:

Another new interview! David answers questions about his novel with The London Paper. He also chats about his research process and mentions his public reading at Waterstones.

Pan Macmillan, a UK publishing company, features an extract from The Late Hector Kipling on their Official Website.

SimonSays.com includes minor information about purchasing the ‘ebook’ edition of The Late Hector Kipling. In addition, the website features an alternative book cover! Click here to view.

Blog Critics posted a fantastic new review on The Late Hector Kipling with several praises to David! I've posted an excerpt from the review below:

If you like your comedy black, your satire pointed, and have a keen sense of the absurd than David Thewlis' “The Late Hector Kipling” will be your cup of tea. Biting, sharp, and wickedly funny, it exposes and explodes the conceits and pretensions of modern art with an intelligence and skill that is a pleasure to read.

Lupinegirl - I reserved my copy at Barnes and Noble last week! I am so excited to FINALLY pick it up on November 6th! I'm going insane without David's novel in my hands, I really wanted to order it from the UK but the mailing office at my University always loses the students packages (including mine and some of my school loans - eek!) I didn't want to risk them losing my copy David's book.

*is counting down the days* :D !
