Has anyone come across a really good fanfiction that you would like to post a link to for others to check out? :D

My Pomes on LUpin

Post01 Oct 2007, 02:51

Ummm I have three poems here there are

My SacrificeTo Be There For You

I was once a child who was cursed.
Through the fangs of the moon.
The pain, chaos, and loneliness.

Was all I that I knew was to hurt and run.
But all of this anger and lust.
Is still here in my heart.

As the years went by so did the love.
I was loved but not in a human way.
A way, of killing or darkness.

The way that no one should live!
But I was forever alone in this vase dark realm.
I hunted, fled, and I escaped.

But just to be caught again by those same fangs.
His four huge fangs riped me up like a toy.
He chomped and snarled, and threw me on the ground.

Fear, was now in my little empty mind.
I cry.
I begged.

To this wolf of demise over me.
His strength vs my young fear over him.
His head on my back, fangs on my shoulder.

I twist and turned like a mad man.
Tears of silver come down like waterfalls.
His howl was all that was heard.

As I fell into a dark abyss of slumber.
I woke up to this dream.
Still do this day.

Now, as a man, teacher, and father.
I must keep my promise.
To give up my life for those of who I love!

I will fight not for myself.
But for my family and friends.
This is my sacrifice.

To forever be near to her.
And die for her.
To warm her.

And to fight through the darkness.
I'm werewolf for the sake of protection.
And nothing can take that away for me.

This is my last wish in the heart that is left.
Remember what I did and what I lived for.
And you will forever find me.

In the light of your eyes, to the light in the room.
I'll be there for you in peril or loss.
Just look for me in the sky.

My last words are this.
" Through the full moon, I will die for you.
To my heart and soul I will forever love you."

Remus

I longed To Be Like You (Lupin's Daughter)

I look towards the battle field.
The site so dreadful like a sin.
My friends lay dead upon the bloody ground .

There stood the pain that has been in my soul.
I choked.
I fell.
I screamed.

Of one of my friends lay forgotten.
Her pale face and dark eyes.
My hands trembled and shake.

The memories come in my mind.
Like flames that burn my soul.
I look to the right and left.

As I thought, many are dead.
A friend, a family but most of all.
A love that was never to be.

My footsteps left the one that saved me.
And went to the one that my heat wants to save.
But I knew nothing could.

His brown eyes looked into mine.
Tears go down in streams.
His chest was as pale as my friends.

The blood flooded his face.
But he still smiled at me.
His hand went on my chick.

And he whispered in his soft gentle voice.
" I will forever be with you.."
Then his eyes faded, he was gone.

I held him.
I kissed him.
I loved him.

Now, standing here next to him.
I kneel.
I cry.
I will forever be with him.

I stood next to his grave.
And fell upon it and said.
" I love you forever Lupin."

His stones stood the words.
"I longed to be like you.
My father, Lupin."

He was a teacher, a father and a werewolf.
Who was the one that taught me.
To hold on and that I'm not alone.

So my final words are.
"You're not alone.
I'm always here for you."

Now, I look out towards the full moon.
And I see your face that was once alive.
My vision falls into waves of sorrow.

The light that once through your door.
Has passed on to you.
But in my dreams of pain and guilt.

I see us as a family again.
The laughter that filled the rooms.
The love that was there but not realized.

But in the end I still feel.
That hug you gave me before bed.
And the kiss upon my forehead.

I howl for you when the sky is full.
I will run for you when the winds blow.
Lastly, I will be like you

Well, this is as CLOSE to a fan-fiction that I will ever likely write. It's called The Looking Glass, and the main character is modeled after David Thewlis. (Please note that David Thewlis is only the model, not the actual man behind the character.) I just thought that Thewlis fans might like to check it out. The story is located here, as a published online book:

http://phoenix32025.tripod.com/thelookingglass

The rating is PG-13 (borderline R) for scenes of sexuality, adult situations, and some mild language (the 'f' word is said twice in one particular conversation). The online version is very reserved compared to the hard-bound copy, which I would be happy to send to anyone over the age of 18 FREE OF CHARGE if they should like to drop me an e-mail.

I am in the process of updating the book, but the update will not change the general plot to the story, only fill in the gaps of time that now exist, to include bringing out the characters in much more depth, as well as more adventure. The new online version is due to be posted by the summer of 2008.

If anyone should be curious to read my present online version of the book, it will not take away from your experience of reading the updated version next year. It should give you plenty of time to get to know the characters, so that the reading of the updated version is much, much more rewarding!

For questions, or comments about my book - you may feel free to PM me here. For those who are interested in a hard-bound copy of the book FREE OF CHARGE, you can e-mail me at: phoenix5946@yahoo.com.

Happy reading!

Sorry to double post, but I just had to say something about this little lady's work up above! My soul was MOVED by your words, and I wonder if you have actually gone though such tragedy in your own life to know what it is you are writing about.

Being a writer myself, I put my own life into every single one of the characters I create (despite whatever face they happen to have!) Tragedy IS my life, as well as the giving up of self, or my own sense of self (what I view as myself) in order to become more spiritual. I related to many of the words above that you wrote, and I am here to tell you that you have written something that a reader is able to believe or even experience through your words - and if you haven't ever really endured much tragedy in your own life, then I congratulate you indeed, for you have outdone anything I am even remotely capable of doing!

My hat's off to yer, girl!

there was a really good one on Fanfiction.net that I adored. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3699795/1/ It is called Harry Potter Must Share the Title with Remus Lupin. Warning, if you like Harry's character to the point where you can't stand harry-bashing, don't read. it bashes him. A lot.

Hahahahah, I read that one! It was pretty funny & the Harry bashing was CLASSIC. Oh, that's the way the book should've gone...hahaha
