Is it available for pre-order? I couldn't find it anywhere on the site, only the first Lupin bust was available.

That's the official action figure of Remus that was released for Prisoner of Azkaban. It has a "transformer" type thing, where the head can change from Remus to the werewolf head. I've got one of these at home LOL

The Mini-fig set looks much better though.

The Remus Variant Bust just went on sale today at 12pm PST:

https://www.gentlegiantltd.com/catalog/ ... detail/457

"This ia a Premier Guild Exclusive Offering through Sunday, August 31st, 2008. Remaining quantities will be made available to general public after that date.

Remus Lupin is a strong and powerful wizard. He taught Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts, and is one of the few who can perform controlled wandless magic. While teaching at Hogwarts, Lupin successfully hid his lycanthropy, turning into a werewolf, from the school at large. Remus Lupin was widely regarded as by far the best Dark Arts professor the students in Harry's year had ever had, and they learned quickly under his tutelage.

This variant shows Remus Lupin as he transforms into a werewolf revealing his deep dark secret! Only 500 pieces made worldwide. Purchase is limited to one per person."

I had a chance to see this bust in person at the San Diego Comic Con and I can say the pictures really don't do it justice.

I agree, I remember when we all saw it at ComicCon & were in disbelief that this was the same bust in the photos, it definitely looks a lot better in person & its beautifully detailed.

For anyone interested in purchasing this Lupin bust, its now available to the public for purchase through Gentle Giant's Official Website. Only 500 of these have been made worldwide - I'm sure they'll sell out quickly...the other Lupin bust is already currently unavailable.

I purchased mine this morning, can't wait for it to arrive!

My regular version bust just arrived a couple of days ago. And since you're not located in the US, I would assume that it would take longer. Contact the company you purchased it from and i'm sure they could give you more information.

If you're talking about the werewolf variant, it's onaly available from here:
https://www.gentlegiantltd.com/catalog/ ... detail/457

And Gentle Giant is notoriously slow in their shipping.
