I'm thrilled David decided to take part in this film - it sounds really great :D .

Being a huge Keira Knightley fan, I'm very much looking forward to seeing them star alongside each other in a film.

I'm so excited about this project! William Monahan, the guy who wrote and is directing it, also wrote the screenplay for Kingdom of Heaven and later won an Oscar for writing The Departed. He did my favorite interview with David when David's novel came out, the one called "Fiction With a Twist of Lennon," which is in the Thewlis Rox archive. I remember thinking when I read that, in which Monahan raves about how great David's novel is, that if Monahan is such a big fan of David's, he should write him a great movie role. Looks like he did!

Hehe. Briony is completely nuts in the book, but Jordan rocks.

Do these two characters have much interaction in the book? It would be really cool to see Anna and David both on-screen together :D .

Not yet, but I'm only about 50 pages into the book.

Video:

Anna Friel talks LONDON BOULEVARD and THE DETAILS

She describes her character (Briony) a little. From the sounds of it, they're keeping her just as insane and mad as she is in the novel.

Her character certainly sounds crazy  (sorta reminds me very slightly of her character in Niagra Motel).
