Biography | My name is Amanda and I was born and raised in Southern California. I currently work as a Graphic Designer and photographer in Los Angeles, I received my Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Woodbury University (Burbank, CA) in May of 2011. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to intern with several companies in the media district and attend multiple film/television premieres and events as press to gain experience in the entertainment industry. I’ve travelled the World (New Zealand, Australia, England, France, Holland, Ireland, etc.) to experience various cultures and meet many amazing designers who have inspired my work. In addition to traveling, I am passionate about maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle as well as contributing my talents and skills to benefiting my community. I enjoy driving my beloved convertible Mini Cooper everywhere, and spending long hours at coffee shops with my laptop. I’m an Apple enthusiast, and my current goal is to develop unique and useful applications for the iPad and iPhone. I first heard of Mr. Thewlis when he was cast as ‘Professor Lupin’ in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I purchased Naked not long after seeing the third ‘Potter’ film and I’ve been hooked to David’s work ever since. I designed this website in 2005 and my goal is to provide the best spot on the Web for David’s fans and admirers. I feel very honored and blessed to have met Mr. Thewlis in-person on several occasions, he is an amazing person and I am proud to operate this website dedicated to his outstanding career.

    Dear Amanda,
Still here and still grateful for your work, even though I rarely post or reply or comment. Are you and Tannim in better circumstances than earlier this year? I have been thinking of you both. In your extensive spare time, you might try reading a book by Cheryl Mendelson titled “The Good Life: The Moral Individual in an Antimoral World.” Sounds thrilling, but it sorts out and clarifies things that have been jumbled up in my mind for years and explains how they are related. It isn’t very long, and Mendelson is a very good writer. Years ago she wrote an 800-page best seller about housekeeping. And she is a novelist and is a professor of ethics and law. “The Good Life” is particularly timely in an election year.

There, that’s my best news. Everything else I have is about my steam mop (get a Eureka Enviro) and my ever-expanding collection of paint chips.

    Much love,
    Corinne

I think this site holds some very wonderful information for everyone. “Anger makes dull men witty, but it keeps them poor.” by Francis Bacon.
